Zebedee is a MUD(Multi-User Dungeon), a text-based multiplayer internet game. Influences are Tolkien (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit), Dragonlance, Dungeons and Dragons (AD&D), David Eddings, Warhammer, R.E.Feist.
Zebedee is around twenty years old now, and one of the oldest M.U.D's still around today!
It's easy to get started using the interactive Newbie Helper tutorial system and quickstart help guide. There are several newbie areas including 100 rooms in the main town.
